Newcastle is an amazing place - and your right doddlesock nothing of any interest in Sunderland. Durham is nice though 12 mins on the train from Newcastle

i was reading the prospectus for sunderland uni,all places of interest listed were on tyneside or in northumberland but they couldnt admit that fact to the reader,its a sad fact that apart from the beautiful city of durham most things worth seeing are in newcastle or northumberland
