here is a rich and deep calling for the power of consciousness transformation in the quran. ripe with total respect for nature. read some Rumi. you will see that properly perused, the straight path of islam awakens a powerful wisdom that evokes the vision of Gods light shining through everything. also, in islam there is no original sin, so we don't view the earth as demonic all. peace

what ruins human perspective isnt religion itself. but when peoples perspectives narrow their spiritual concepts down to simple dogma. what brought the renaissance wasn't a "throwing away" of religious tradition, but a radical change in the value of the human perspective of religious truth. nietsche said "man has mummified god in words" . t

yes but wisdom must be harvested. must be attained through experience and practice. islam has many aspects similar to buddhism and yogic traditions. the quran speaks to the subconsciousness. like the buddhist dhammapada, it asks you "why do u think this way..." its very interesting. the quran also says that all people of this earth have been sent messengers. it is more than likely that buddhas were men with direct relation to god as well...

Salaam,I am kind of shocked when I heared that imam Zaid said "...we will then trully be children of God!" I loved to listen to this imam but I feel hurt now because of this last sentence.I actually watched another video of his just before this one and he said about the same. I personally don't want to try to interpret it in any way that will try to defend his talk; to me, 'we-children of god' in no way explained is acceptable. I'm very sad because of this. May Allah correct us, amin.

Ignorance and despration are the major causes of the world problems. People acually need to read and find the truth before teaching it to others...
