C'est simplement magnifique....Quand j'avais joué à FF6 en 1998, j'avais compris que la scène de l'opéra était asse exceptionnel à commencer par la bande son. The off-set of the conductor and the orchestra could be from the synchronization in the actual video. But yes a good conductor will be ahead slightly of the orchestra or band so they can see what the conductor wants to do. He might conduct the same piece completely different every time and the to get across his feelings he needs to be ahead. Thats the joy of conducting, you get express yourself through a whole bunch of people.

I finally learned why this conductor is throwing me off...He's about half a beat to a full beat ahead of the actual downbeat the orchestra is using. Why? So if he needs to make any changes to the tempo, the orchestra can react without sounding out of whack.Man... that was pissing me off so much!
