to be honest pearl jam and nirvana are two differnetn types of genres nirvana was more punk and pearl jam was more "alternitive" rock and so they realy cant be put into a arguement between who was better casue they are realy two types of music......i love them both though

oh jeez. the old pearl jam vs nirvana debate. nirvana was great and kurt was definately an individual, but honestly although his songs were good the meaning was not so deep. getting his audience was like shooting fish in a barrel you know what i mean. pearl jam music is complex on paper and in meaning. pearl jam all day fools. besides they are still alive. not to mention nirvana never made a fucking song like yellow ledbetter.

Dude,wait just one minute.I'm only 20 years old and i'm here to tell u even though i love pearl jam .There was no other band from that era that even touched Nirvana.Everyone had their own styles and different followers.NIRVANA IS KING!U dont know sh*t!Good day.

Lol, you're 22, what do you know about this era?Nirvana was already big before Kurt croaked and on an endless rotation on all tv and radio stations and so was Pearl Jam.Personally i love Pearl Jam and Nirvana equally and so much more bands from the nineties. Good times, rock on!
