Vi siete mai accorti che manca il MODELLO n°5?Ricordo che quando il film uscì per la prima volta al cinema, si vedeva anche il MODELLO n°5.Era il modello di una suora che aveva un grande cappello di paglia sulla testa, con una retina che circondava il capo, il tessuto bianco.La suora, molto grassa, aveva in mano un bastone con retina che serviva per acchiappare le farfalle.Ricordo che il commento diceva pressapoco così : VESTITO PER SUORA MISSIONARIA ...E' stato censurato !

A part from the surrealist scenography I may say that it is pretty hard to understand the nuances of this and other scenes if you did not experience Rome and the Vatican. You cannot separate this scene from the movie, that's about Rome and the Vatican which is part of it. No offense for who believe in the catholic church but you develop a very cynical point of you when you live the exuberance and display of power of the Vatican everyday. In conclusion, bravo Maestro, a great touch as usual

you think the inquisition was "pagans only?" there were tons of muslims and jews murdered. monothestic religions are cool, for which teaches to honor one god, the creator. however, like all good things, they have the ability to stray from what they are repersenting. free will is a gift that bears a heavy responsibility.
