well, i can recommend a book...its called Islands In The Stream, by Hemingway. my favorite book. Its the only book I read, it speaks to certain people.

Hey could anyone recomend another movie/book kinda along the same lines as this one, that would be great. thanks

The movie is ok. The book is amazing. Interesting fact: The guy who drops him off at the stampede trail in the movie is the actual real life guy who dropped off Chris McCandless in '92.

Doesn't mean it's a bad movie. Even if Sean Penn tells the story differently through his movie, it's still a good story they way he pictured it.

if you really want the story, and a great story at that, read the book. by comparison the movie is laughable at best, with lots of inaccuracies. |
