i know this may sound absurd, but this is just my favorite, i don't think it's the best of all time :P i know it may sound strange, but that's actually the truth; nonetheless i defend rooney because i believe he deserves a place in the top 10 strikers in the world right now ( although there's no much competition, in this precise moment, save torres and a few others)... that's all, and you're right, i can't state rooney's goal is the best of all time!

I really can't be arsed making a top ten, but obviously Van Basten's and Maradona's would be up there. Tbh it's subjective, and if you believe this is one of the best goals, then fine, but don't state it as fact.
