I think Cambodian Kickboxing is pretty good too in my opinion.. It'll give your sport Jiu-jitsu a run for its money... Go do research on Pradel Serey, Bokator, Cambodian Bloodsport and its called Bloodsport for a reason...

you're right. traditional jiu jitsu does practice a bit of grappling, such as hip throws and such but the actual form that bjj is taken from was judo. there's a lot of controversy over that.
