We've had these bulbs in the UK for 10 years now. I have broken loads and was never told about how to dispose the poison. My lungs must be f@@ked

how sad that all he can do is drone on about them being from china, and edison's 'grand' invention becoming a thing of the past. Instead why doesn't he talk about how the US should be the ones to produce LED lights which contain NO mercury and are even MORE energy efficient than compact fluorescents and incandescents. Let's focus on moving ourselves to become 100% clean, energy efficient and self sustainable, instead of whining bc we will no longer need dirty coal and oil.SOLAR & WIND POWER 2010

this is because we are stupid!

Wow, first they regulate what some people can eat, and now what bulbs we can buy. Get ready for more "you can't..."s next year, especially now that both the legislative and executive branches are controlled by liberals.

he carries the constitution to look for loopholes he can slip thru..but he is right on this issue, CFL aren't the best choice.. maybe something better will come along before then.. they should have made it LED lights and make em in the USA. I wonder if incandesent bulbs have any health or environmental problems ?

Congress and all those big top people don't really give a shit. They get good energy and they can afford it. I hate it when they act like they know how the middle class and lower feel.

Not all of us Texans are this stupid and anti-logic. It's ok to reduce fossil fuel usage and shrink the Texas oil industry. CFL good...Texas oil companies bad. |
