VERY TRUE. One of my greatest regrets is that I hadn't been grounded in more languages as a kid. Second language education wasn't even offered until I was about thirteen or so. I'm trying to make up for lost time in college, but of course the language acquisition device slowly fades as you grow older.

Sorry, I should be more clear. I was poking fun at the above statement. I do believe it's out-dated, but for me that doesn't mean something isn't amusing.
