Stephenville UFO - Not First Texan Flap?

When mysterious lights appeared over Stephenville in January 2008, it became part of Texas history, was viewed and recorded in the digital files of cell phones, hard drives and on the Internet. But, Texas' biggest mystery was recorded differently -- and was forgotten in time. During 1897, in dozens of cities and in hundreds of published accounts, people reported seeing a strange flying machine. Something -- or someone -- was looking down on 1890's Texas.

That theory doesn't hold up, this was not only seen in Stephenville, there were many reports of it in my county as well, and there are no swamps here.

we sceptics believe those were ionized plasma which occurs when swamp gas rises from the swamps of Stephenville & Dublin and causes light effects sirs..

I definately believe that there is something to this as well as the more recent Stephenville stories. When I lived in North East Texas (just a few short yrs ago.) I had a couple of encounters myself. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadnt seen it with my own eyes.
