This may as well be the unofficial music video for "Hey Joe". It still rocks though. Long live Jimi!!!

This IS the real audio, Hendrix is lip-syncing for a TV show. Notice that there are no microphones and the instruments are not even plugged in?

"The Best" is inherently subjective, though I would say you're in the minority to consider Steve Gaines and Dave Murray and Ron McGovney among the best ever. What can be confidently said of Hendrix is that he forever changed the way electric guitar is played, and has influenced perhaps millions of guitarists after him. That he did this in the span of a few years, before the age of 28, is remarkable. No one can be definitively "best", but Jimi might be the most important.

I got a qustion for all you guitar fan's like me.... So here I go, how can you say "Hendrix is the best" When you have people like "Eddie Van Halen" "Slash" "Andrew Latamier" "Carlos Santana" "Dave Murray" "Ron McGovney" "Steve Gaines" and "Jeff Hanneman"? So please someone tell me or send me a YouTube e-mail about why you think Hendrix is "The Best"

Too bad this is the recording...set (poorly) to a video of Jimi Hendrix. His lips are off and the transition is horrible. Its a good song, my fav by Jimi. But the real audio should have been left on the video.
