i completely agree. i'm not a big blind melon fan at all and i admit that i only know this song. however, i'm an enormous offspring fan, and when people say stuff like "oh, pretty fly for a white guy rules, i love the offspring," i get pissed off. i might check out some of blind melon's other stuff to see how they really are, but i totally agree with you. just like this example, 'pretty fly' is nothing like the offspring's other stuff, and it pisses me off when people base a band off of 1 song.
